Thats the commloops code, and my attempt and turning storeClientCopy()
into the exact opposite of storeAppend().

yup. guys, can you run this inside gdb and get me a stack trace?
I know that its happening inside the IMS handling code, and I'd
like to know whether its happening elsewhere.
