Hi, pals!

I learn from Programming Guide that each cached object are composed
of two parts. Metadata of the cached object and the real entity getting
from origin server/ICP peers.

As the Programming Guide says,

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
A cache swap file consists of two parts: the cache metadata, and the
object data. Note the object data includes the full HTTP reply---headers
and body. The HTTP reply headers are not the same as the cache metadata.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I want to know what is metadata of cached object and how squid write
the metadata. Which source file/function should I read?

Best regards,
George Ma
