Minor detail:
The server you need to connect to for CVS is cvs.devel.squid-cache.org..
(aka cvs.squid.sourceforge.net). The shell server is a entirely
different SSH server. The fact that you can connect to one tells very
little about the other..
To connect without a password prompt to the CVS server you must install
your publish SSH keys by logging in to the SourceForge web and adding
the keys to your personal account.
