On IRIX: Segment Violation...dying

Hi!

I've just joined this list, so appology if this question has been raised before. BTW, is there a FAQ on this list?

I've been happily running Squid beta 1.1.4 for some time, before I today decided to update to newest beta (1.1.16). I installed it like I did before, but now it won't run.

In the log-file (cache.log) these entries worries me:

FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.
96/11/11 15:00:00| storeWriteCleanLog: Not currently OK to rewrite swap log.
96/11/11 15:00:00| storeWriteCleanLog: Operation aborted.

Page faults with physical i/o: 0

Does someone have a clue what this could be?
