Squid not resolving local host names.

   Hi,

   I am using Squid-1.0.18 and it looks like it is unable to resolve
local host names (without domain name appended) :

128.178.1.58 - - [19/Nov/1996:16:45:03 +0100] "GET http://hpwww/" ERR_DNS_FAIL
839
128.178.1.58 - - [19/Nov/1996:16:45:44 +0100] "GET http://hpwww.epfl.ch/"
TCP_MISS 80

  needless to say, our local domain is epfl.ch.

   Anyone has an idea about this ?
