What does FIRST_PARENT_MISS mean?

I've just installed 1.1.0 (previously I ran 1.0.18) and I've noticed new
codes in the access.log file. I've seen PARENT_HIT's for all of my parents,
but what does FIRST_PARENT_MISS mean? If it means that the second parent
had a hit, why not show PARENT_HIT? If it means that all parents missed,
then why not PARENT_MISS?

Cheers.
