squid's locking and dying

Hi,

We are trying to install squid 1.1.6 on UnixWare 2.1

1. After working some period of time it locks and for
each request writes the following 2 lines in
the cache.log file:

97/03/06 13:12:34| asciiHandleConn: FD 15: accept failure: (71)
Protocol error
97/03/06 13:12:45| comm_accept: FD 15: accept failure: (71)
Protocol error

What it can be?

2. Another problem is that it dies just after trying to execute
any command from cachemgr.cgi. The following appears in
the cache.log file:

97/03/06 19:26:49| CACHEMGR: 193.124.209.69 requesting 'info'
FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying.
97/03/06 19:26:49| storeWriteCleanLog: Starting...
97/03/06 19:26:49| Finished. Wrote 1370 lines.
97/03/06 19:26:49| Took 0 seconds (1370.0 lines/sec).
