Hi,
i'm running squid 1.1.9 since last week and now I have much more
TIMEOUT's in cache.log than before with squid 1.1.7 and our users
are very annoyed by the slow response of the caches at all (e.g.
97/04/22 17:13:03| ERR_READ_TIMEOUT: http://www.yanthi.com/picssx/1005fc.jpg
97/04/22 17:14:46| ERR_READ_TIMEOUT: http://hotorgasms.com/enter.cgi
)
Also my cache died once after logging 229 times :
97/04/22 20:39:04| WARNING: storeAppend: NULL entry->mem_obj->data
97/04/22 20:39:04| WARNING: storeAppend: NULL entry->mem_obj->data
...
97/04/22 20:39:05| WARNING: InvokeHandlers: NULL mem->clients
97/04/22 20:39:05| WARNING: Someone called storeReleaseRequest on an unlocked en
try
97/04/22 20:39:05| --> 'NULL URL'
FATAL: Received Bus Error...dying.
97/04/22 20:39:07| storeWriteCleanLog: Starting...
...
The last logged message before was :
97/04/22 20:39:04| CACHEMGR: 141.44.25.22 requesting 'config_file'
No date have been sent from squid in response to that request...
Unfortunately I did not find any file.
Squid was compiled with gcc version 2.7.2.2 on Solaris 2.5.x (ICMP, POLL
and SPLAY_TREE).
Any hints, what's going on ???
Thanx,
Jens.
