Squid 1.1.15 on Digital Unix

Based upon your experiences, what's the best configuration options for compiling & running Squid on Digital Unix 4.0c?

Machine is 433Mhz alpha, with 2x rz28 2x rz29 ultra wide plus 2Gb internal system disk. 256 Mb memory, running nothing major except Squid.
