I corrected this situation at my site by following a suggestion posted to the
list by Malcolm Garbutt on 6/6/97.
His suggestion was:
1. set an acl for admin
acl admin src YOUR.IP.NO.HERE/YOUR.SUBNET.MASK.HERE
2. and then permit admin to use it
http_access allow admin manager localhost
I found his post by searching the archive of the list
(http://www.cineca.it/proxy/search/).
