About hierarchies

Hi,

How squid works with hierarchy where it has one parent, which has no
icp-support, and sibling which has icp support. Does it first query both
parent and sibling and just wait which replies first, or does it first
query sibling then parent... or? We currently have the parent, and i was
wondering if there is any sense adding the sibling, will it make queries
faster, and will it reduce the load which is going to parent.
