Almost daily now during peak time, our squid proxy dies. It just stops
answering TCP connections.
Could this be related to a shortage file descriptors (in which case we would
have to recompile the kernel) or is this a general bug? (In which case we
would reinstall 1.1.19 and watch squid eat memory)
Nothing is logged, it just doesn't work anymore. We are getting about 12000
connections/hour during peak time. (according to cachemgr)
Any suggestions?
