Hi,

I have a strange problem with Squid which the group may be able to help me
with.

Often when I restart Squid and I click on Home in Netscape 2.0.2 which
uses the cache I get a "Document contains no data" error, and in the
cache.log I get:

etc.....

The only thing I can do to solve this is to restart Squid several times (I
do a kill -9 on the squid, RunCache and ftpget processes) until the
problem disappears.

We are running Squid v1.NOVM.17 on Digital Unix 3.2C , cache_swap is set
to 10, and currently we don't cache anything (i.e. cache_stoplist : ).

Our webserver is on a separate server running NT4 with IIS3.0

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is and how I can resolve it?
This is very annoying as this is a production server.

        Thanks,

                Nick.
