Squid 1.2 formats and other Q's.

Goodmorning,

Just a quick question [or two] on Squid 1.2....

Have the directory formats and logging formats etc been frozen yet? (ie.
if I deploy a 1.2 version - will my whole cache structure get mauled at
each subversion upgrade?)

Also, does anyone recommend using software RAID0 on Linux (Squid 1.2)
for a 40Gb cache? Or just use the separate cache_dirs on separate physical
drives and that'll be adequate?

And finally... how close *are* we to having an official stable release of
1.2? :)
