Hi,

I have patch my client_side.c but when I type:

        #make distclean
make: *** No rule to make target 'distclean'. Stop.

        or this

        #make realclean
make: *** No rule to make target 'realclean'. Stop

Do I recompile my patch squid by just the usual procedure

        ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid
        make all
        make install

or do I have to add additional commands before compiling.

Reading the patch, (and applying it, before this happened), I noticed that
the patch doesn't have the correct path in it for the actual 'patch' to the
code. at the prompt enter... (assuming you are doing this from the root of
the squid archive.. eg: /usr/src/squid-2.1.PATCH2/ )..

src/client_side.c

That'll get it running.

BTW: Whoever created this patch... might want to fix it. *grin*
