attached mail follows:
Dear Sir,
I need your kind help in a problem. I am using squid 2.2 on Solaris 2.7
platform. Some times when Squid is running it doesn't respond to any Web
request although its process is running. Its cache.log shows this error
message.
1999/11/12 15:12:00| comm_write: fd_table[133].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:22:10| comm_write: fd_table[55].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:22:10| comm_write: fd_table[68].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:27:56| comm_write: fd_table[44].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:30:15| comm_write: fd_table[44].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:30:15| comm_write: fd_table[45].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:30:15| comm_write: fd_table[51].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:30:15| comm_write: fd_table[52].rwstate != NULL
1999/11/12 15:30:22| comm_write: fd_table[50].rwstate != NULL
Then I have to kill and restart the Squid process then it responds ok. I
have seen also Installation log for squid. It shows some times errors
like
configure:2258: bstring.h: No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 2257 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <bstring.h>
configure:2252: checking for config.h
configure:2262: gcc -E conftest.c >/dev/null 2>conftest.out
configure:2258: config.h: No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 2257 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
Can u pls help me out. Why squid stop responding. I had 128MB RAM with
P450. I set the value for RAM in conf file as 50MB. What is solution for
it. Very much Thanks.
