Partly confirmed. Any failed login or registration attempt results in an
empty page if using IE.

A closer investigation of the problem seems to indicate some kind of
problem with IE 4 and redirects. The odd thing (which slows me down
considerably) is that it seems to work fine if using a 2 level hierarch
(child & parent cache), but it seems to mostly fail when only using one
level Squid proxy.
