If you're having problems with raid0 remember that Debian, RedHat and the stock
kernel differ here in late 2.2.x.

I strongly recommend the Debian kernels for late 2.2.x raid0. It's compatible
with the old 2.0.x stuff, ie, it actually works. RedHat uses some code which I
believe was rejected many times from the mainstream kernel but I don't know if
it was later accepted back in - I know it's not in the Debian ones.
