Because I'm always up for a challege ;-), I installed CYGWIN on an NT 4
Workstation today. I took the Squid 2.4Devel4 snapshot from 11/13/00 and
the NTLM.PATCH file from sourceforge.
I applied this patch, and compiled with the same options I used on my Linux
box.
I received warnings during autoconf and autoheader (AC_TRY_RUN warnings
about cross compiling), but kept going regardless.
I edited squid.conf and entered my proxy_auth acl's and related lines and
specified the ntlm_auth helper.
squid -z returned an error saying that ntlm_auth did not exist.
I checked and sure enough, ntlm_auth(.exe) did not exist.
I checked my ./configure statement...looked ok to me.
It appears that everything compiled succesfully except ntlm_auth....but I
was never given an error.
Robert--any success at the NTLM helper on Cygwin?
Thanks,
Craig
