Are you saying that after a few days, the memory usage does not stop
growing? Are you using the latest Squid 2.4 daily snapshot? It has
several (small) memory leaks fixed.

89MB is actually a quite small footprint for Squid. Most of our bigger
boxes run with process sizes in the 300MB range, with no problem. I
don't think we have any boxes running with a process size smaller than
100MB, even our little single IDE disk boxes. (Of course, we're
currently still using 2.2STABLE5+patches, but we'll be rolling out 2.4
sometime soon and my testing indicates it's pretty close to being as
solid as the 2.2 we use currently.)
