You're right. I looked more carefully and found directories that werent
full.

Over the last week or so i estimate about 500MB worth of browsing has taken
place, almost none of which appears to have made it into the cache_dir.
However, most of it was basic auth password protected (not SSLed) does that
mean it will only be cached in RAM? If so, then you're probably right about
the 129MB being all that's required. Is there any way to get squid to write
these files to disk?
