Hi all
going thru he docs the squid access times esentially indicate the time
that a transaction busied the cache i.e times(socket accept) -
time(socket close)
to this number if i add the latency period between the client and squid
machine . will the sum roughly give me the response time for http as
experienced by the end user client???
one more question
when serving static data will squid outperform a similar (at h/w level
) NT IIS webserver in terms of the number of clients that can be
handled
what abt comparing squid and say TUX or one Khttpd for static
content..any statitics
TIA
khiz
