[squid-users] cache related

hello,

i am getting confuse in squid cacheing,can any one pls help me in
understanding how squid caches andhow uses these cache thing.

i saw in accecc.log it has some lines showing FD...... whats that?

i need to know how squid is cacheing the URL entered and where it stores
them ?
