The FTP URL scheme syntax is
ftp://[user:password@]host/path/to/file
example:
User: joe
Password: secret
Server: ftp.example.com
File: private/somefile
URL: ftp://joe:secret@ftp.example.com/private/somefile
When using Squid you can leave out the password if you like.. Squid
will then ask the browser for authentication (but this reportedly do
not work when using MS IE)
