[squid-users] Squid placement

So, after solving another squid issue. Here it goes one very important
for us. The placement of the Squid box.

The network is like this:

INTERNET
        ||
        ||
CISCO-ROUTER (7200)====Cisco2500===(dialup_server & others)
|| ||
|| ||
|| SWITCH
|| ||
|| ||
|| FIREWALL
|| ||
|| ISP's computers and Web Servers
||
ISP's Clients (FrameRelays,Country Internetworks, Cable Modems)

Where do we place the Squid?
a- On the switch?
a.1 If placed on the switch will that created a hughe delay because of
packets going from clients-to-the ciscos-to the switch-backto the
ciscos-to clients/dialups?
b- In the middle of the Cisco 7200 and our Internet connection?
c- Ideas?
