[squid-users] Text File Not Getting Cached.

Hi,
        
I was using SQUID . I gave the following URL from http client
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1231.txt?number=1231
<http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1231.txt?number=1231> . The response was served
but when I checked the cache directory on SQUID the contents of file was
not present in any of the cache files.
 
My squid. conf has no cache entry only for
acl QUERY urlpath_regex cgi-bin \?
no_cache deny QUERY
 
maximum_object_size is commented, so default should be 4096KB
 
Please let me know what I am missing.
