hi all,
hi henrik,
i have a setup i guess many people in the list r usiing too ... a linux box
with squid netfilter & lartc and NOTHING ELSE !!
now as this box uses iproute, hence doing lot of bandwidth restriction for
clients... it happens that even the cached pages from squid fall into this
bandwidth restriction.
so i want to ask if its possible to make *no* bandwidth restriction on
pages/sites that are comming from cache ie caches pages/sites !.. im no
programmer but can something like this happen with squid & lartc-->
pages fetched from disk/memory/parent/sibling get some mark on the packets.
i.e when squid sends such packets it use some marking on it & hence v can use
those marked packets to give higer priority/bandwidth for the same ??..
have anyone tried to use such kind of setup .. if yes kindly throw somelight
on it ...
well this is what i thought of --maybe someone here in the list will have a
better idea ??...
thanx in advance ..
A.H
