[squid-users] problem

Hi :)
I have squid on a mandrake 9 with apache. my adsl works fine but I have
a win 98 client in my small network (two PC) which gets internet on ip
192.168.0.1 port 8080
when I try to download it starts at about 70kb /s and rapidly down to
zero octet !
How can I avoid that ?
my pop and smtp doesn't work either.. can you tell me how to configure
those settings ?
