ok, as far as i can tell (i've been through the docs and config file a
million times) this should be setup right. i can only assume i'm missing
something though, since it doesn't actually work.
what exactly do i need to do to get a squid server to ask it's parent to
resolve DNS for it? it's still trying to resolve DNS locally, which fails
since the internal machine it's running on can't resolve internet names.
this is the only thing left to do to get this working, please help!!
