I am unfamiliar with putting *everything* in single quotes (is that so the
shell doesn't freak?) so perhaps I am way off but maybe if you just put the
arguments (not the --enable... lines) in quotes? My line is:
 --enable-storeio="aufs,ufs"

I am unclear if you are trying to compile it (hence gave your configure
line) or have it compiled but it isn't starting (in which case you should
have given the printout from "squid -v"). If you've compiled it and are
getting this error, run squid -v and see if it got compiled in. If it did,
run "squid -k parse" and see what you get. If still stumped post the output
of both and someone smarter than I can help you :)
