I use Squid as an accelerator.
Something that helped me dramatically improve my HIT ratio was to run my pages
through the "Cacheability Engine Query" at
http://www.web-caching.com/cacheability.html
It showed me that I needed to add mod_expires among other things
to my Apache web server.
If the engine says your page isn't cacheable then its my experience that Squid won't cache it.

This is my last question about this problem. I cant find any suggestions about this problem via Google search. I call several times the same site there are no TCP_HITS in the logs. I have not TCP_DENIED entries.What is wrong or what could it be?? I use squid 2.5stable3.
