Hi guys,
this is the situation. We are running Squid 2.4 STABLE7 on two Sun E220R
servers. Both servers are installed with Solaris 8. The only reason why we
run an http proxy is the fact that we have private address networks that
need web access. Caching is disabled.
Now, after every restart, Squid is performing just fine with a median
service time of 0.01 - 0.02 seconds per request. After a couple of weeks
of running 24x7 this number creeps up to 0.2 - 0.3 seconds per request. At
this point we need pointers to things we should be looking at in order to
remedy this situation (besides a periodic restart of Squid itself). Any
ideas?
Thanks in advance.
