Just tried this at home with squid on SCO OpenServer 5.0.6
Starting Squid Cache version 2.5.STABLE4 for i686-pc-sco3.2v5.0.6...
No problem at all.

Tried it on WindowsXP
Starting Squid Cache version 2.5.STABLE4-NT-CVS for i686-pc-winnt...
Running on Windows XP
Same problem, I really want to find this.......
