[squid-users] Squid 2.6 and SOCKS4A? TOR?

I'm interested in playing with the EEF's TOR anonymity proxy. Reading
through the circa 2005 docs I see that they recommend the use of privoxy.
The claim is that Squid's lack of SOCKS 4A support results in DNS
requests being observeable, which undermines anonymity.

Is SOCKS 4A supported in Squid v2.6?

Can anyone on this describe their use of Squid + TOR?
