Im having issues connecting to apple software updates when going
through my squid proxy. When computer is plugged into dmz and doesnt
go through proxy it seems to work ok. I get the following message
when running softwareupdater from terminal on an apple os 10.4.x:

2007-02-26 09:02:11.127 softwareupdate[234]
loader:didFailWithError:NSError "XML parser
error:
         Encountered unexpected EOF
Old-style plist parser error:
         Malformed data byte group at line 1; invalid hex
" Domain=SUCatalogLoader Code=0 UserInfo={
     NSLocalizedDescription = "XML parser error:\n\tEncountered unexpected
EOF\nOld-style plist parser error:\n\tMalformed data byte group at
line 1; invalid
hex\n";
     NSURL = http://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/index-1.sucatalog;
}
XML parser error:
         Encountered unexpected EOF
Old-style plist parser error:
         Malformed data byte group at line 1; invalid hex
Everything worked ok till a month or so ago. No changes were made on my end.
I can see the initial connection made to swscan.apple.com. When
computer does not go through proxy things work fine. Im not quite
sure what the issue could be. Im running squid 2.6. stable 3. Anyone
have any ideas as to why this doesnt work?

thanks,

ddh
