If your environment supports Kerberos as the only authentication (not NTLM)
you could try my helper program squid_kerb_auth and squid_kerb_ldap at
http://squidkerbauth.cvs.sourceforge.net/squidkerbauth/

Hello Guys,
I've enabled squid authentication several times, including windows
authentication integration through smb_auth and recently some
squid_ldap_auth for direct LDAP check, without the SMB stuff.
But i was required for doing transparent authentication .... squid
should be able to see the user's used to log on the machine and the
domain, without the username/password http prompt.
Which module should i be using for that ?? Are there any tutorials
available ?
I'll be using a Windows 2000 AD controller for that with squid
running on Fedora Linux.
I also know there's no authentication on transparent requests .....
squid will NOT be running on transparent mode, it will be configured on
browsers. Just authentication that should be done without user/password
prompt.
