block DIRECT? Perhaps you mean you want your proxy always to use parent
proxy. use never_direct for that. However, if possible, the CONNECT requests
should be passed dfirectly, there's no reason (except logging on parent) to
pass through proxy

(actually, they probably should not go through proxy at all...)
