You are trying to compile without all the requisite header files.
Dependant on your distribution, you should be able to install some kind
of openldap development package. At the very least, a search for your
distribution and lber.h should get you on the right path. I know that
YUM allows you to search for the package that provides a specific file
(yum provides lber.h).
