I've just come across this bugreport:

Here it states that there is an option in the newest squid_kerb_ldap
so you can provide a list of ldap servers to check. (-S)

I've just downloaded the sourcefiles and I'm trying to get them
compiled so I can test this one out.

If I succeed, I'll definitely will let you know..
