[squid-users] TCP_MISS/000 http status on squid logs

Hi ,

I have configured the squid as direct proxy. Iam getting TCP_MISS/000
in the squid logs

1324551508.224 30045 x.x.x.x TCP_MISS/000 0 GET http://www.x.com -
DIRECT/www.x.com -
1324551517.557 30037 x.x.x.x TCP_MISS/000 0 GET http://www.x.com -
DIRECT/www.x.com -

Iam getting 000 code for 30 out of 100 requests.

60% of requests are succeeded for the same website.

I am using squid-3 and configured default squid.conf and removed the
via and forwarded_for header.

If i browse without proxy it is working fine with fast response.

Please help me to solve this issue.
