RE: [SQU] cache not working

This is where I find it in both .conf and .conf.default. But is is not
enabled.

# TAG: max_open_disk_fds
# TAG: offline_mode
# Enable this option and Squid will never try to validate cached
# objects.

You must have some offline setting in squid.conf . read squid.conf.default
comment lines for this . I don't remember the exact line .

I have recently setup a squid Squid/2.3.STABLE4 on a rh 6.2 box. I have to
to forward to a parent cache. This is for porn etc. I have the settings to
make all request go here so the filter cannot be bypassed. The external
proxy is down at the moment and my local squid server will not show me pages
that have been cached. Why will it not show localy cached pages?
