Hi,

yes you're right, i invoke my Squid using init script located at
/etc/rc.d/init.d/squid. The thing is, even when tried out your
suggestion, the same problem still arised and the squid still keep on
giving me message like

squid: ERROR: No running copy

Something must be missing, or else the squid won't run for awhile and
die after that. I just wondering what does this message indicate, any
idea? perhap you could help me solve the mystery. TQ.
